Founder & Executive Director
Leslie Hughes Kennedy is the Founder & Executive Director of the Barking Beauty Pageant. A former Ms. New York and star of NYCTV's Doggie Moms. She brings her expertise as a national emcee and host fo the National American Miss Pageants to the stage along with her "dogger," a sweet little Chihuahua named, Laverne.
Social Media Manager
Angela Johnson is a proud University of Texas School of Journalism alumnus with experience in the publishing industry and in nonprofit communications. She and her husband of 9 years are the parents of two fully-grown humans and a 1-year old Goldendoodle name Moose.
